such promises

in the moments of uncertainty, sometimes we become afraid to act. sometimes i just choose to do other things. it will be the time to face up to it. there is a time for everything under the sun.

i'll forever be too poor to pay back my Lord
but He promised me a future rich and true,
imperfect, limited, powerless, vulnerable.
yet protected, blessed, heard and loved.

King, Saviour, Brother.
which of you has a Lord like that?
declare it with pride!



crown Him now with many crowns,
He reigns victorious,
High and lifted up,
Jesus, Son of God,
Darling of Heaven,
Crucified,
